Effects of Leadership Types on Job Satisfaction Among Malaysian Higher Education Institutions

Employee job satisfaction is an important component of any and could be influenced by different types leadership. Keeping employees happy satisfied while at the same time being a great leader extremely difficult balance, especially in educational leadership, where there are two employees, mainly administrators, educators. It requires who can balance between lines choose proper leadership style to motivate employees. This study looks three types: laissez-faire, transformational transactional A purposeful sampling 393 participants was utilized sample educators from Malaysia's private governmental education institutions. Data were collected using questionnaires. The findings indicated that laissez-faire have significant relationship (β = 0.608, t 16.576, p 0.000) 0.865, 8.498; 0.000), has insignificant with -0.019, 0.747, 0.227).
